Welcome to the March issue of Aural Fix Communique! Okay some checks didn't clear in time so we had to stick to the 16 pager again, which is a bummer since this issue marks our sixth year in print! Happy anniversary! That's right, 6 years in print and 9 years on the internet. And they said we would never last!
Now some publications and writers will tell you that the Long Island Music Scene has hit rock bottom... if you actually get involved in it, you'll see that is simply not the case! We have several bands signed and active in the industry at the moment. There are plenty of clubs and hell, hundreds of bands in all genres.
What we could use is a few more quality mid-sized venues and a whole lot of you, the Aural Fix readers, to come out to the shows! So why not shoot us an email, or write us a letter?
Next issue we'll bump back up to 24 pages and get in all the stuff we had to drop this issue. Or just keep checking back here. Hey, Aural Fix started on the web back in 1997, so it's all good!
